Description

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for researching, developing, and implementing effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent for LMC. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with internal stakeholders to develop, communicate and execute jointly on an effective recruiting plan for open positions. Responsible for strategic recruitment plan development, project management, and recruitment execution to achieve a seamless recruitment experience for both the candidate and the internal stakeholder. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partners with internal stakeholders across various business units to understand staffing needs and determine selection criteria, hiring profiles, and job requirements for open positions.
  • Utilizes a variety of channels (job boards, social media, networking events, employee referrals) to source and attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates
  • Performs all full cycle recruiting responsibilities: sourcing, pre-screening candidates, scheduling interviews, administering candidate assessments, managing candidate pipelines, facilitates candidate decision meetings, supports the offer process, administers background checks, drafts and sends offer letters.
  • Makes recommendations to hiring managers for competitive and equitable offers.
  • Ensures a positive and seamless candidate experience, from initial contact through onboarding.
  • Promotes LMC’s employer brand through the use of social media, targeted messaging, and networking, ensuring that we attract candidates who align with our company culture and values.
  • Ensures accurate and up-to-date job descriptions are maintained. 
  • Oversees recruiting software for streamlining all facets of applicant tracking, recruiting activities, and maintaining recruiting data. 
  • Ensures all recruitment activities are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Regularly evaluates vendor relationships (including recruiting software, job posting vendors, recruiting firms, background check vendor, etc.) and makes recommendations for changes when appropriate.
  • Conducts 30-60-90 day check-ins with new hires to solicit feedback about the candidate and new hire experience.
  • Maintains accurate tracking and records of candidates and the recruiting process for each open position.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for hiring managers.
  • Plans and implements LMC’s Internship Program, including setting goals and objectives for the program, planning events and learning activities, and intern projects to accomplish the program objectives, and implementing and overseeing the program
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of experience with full-cycle recruiting required, including strong demonstrated experience with sourcing both passive and active talent utilizing a variety of methods.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience partnering and building relationships with internal business partners/hiring managers.
  • Experience developing hiring strategies and selection criteria.
  • Demonstrated expertise with recruiting related marketing, social media, recruiting tools, technologies, sites, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of effective hiring platforms that attract suitable applicants.
  • Exceptional ability to screen candidates, compile shortlists and interview candidates.
  • Ability to be agile, innovative, and creative with sourcing strategies and work closely with the talent acquisition team and hiring managers.
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems.
